Gassel

"Gassel" is the german name given to one-seater sleighs which could be driven by the owner himself sitting astride. As small manoeuvrable vehicles they where especially suitable for sporting trips at high speeds.

Glass landau

Landau in which the upper fore-quarters are represented by windows.

Groningse jachtwagen (Dutch)

A four-wheeled light 18th-century wagon, used in the Dutch province of Groningen. This carriage with leather braces and decoration was used for recreation and festivities.

Glass wagon

A four-wheeled light wagon with a fixed hood. The type dates from the early 19th century. The luxury of large windows was expressed in its name.
