This portal is founded in 2005 by the Museu Nacional dos Coches, the Nationaal Rijtuigmuseum and the Wagenburg. These founders invite other European museums with carriages in their collection to join in this digital presentation, provided that their carriages are visible to the public.

A new member of this European network will have his own museum page, including Tourist Information, News and Carriages. He will manage and actualize the content by himself. The information of News and Carriages will also be shown in the general - European - items News and Carriages. The location of his museum will be shown on the national map.

Printed catalogue

A new member receives one copy of the printed catalogue and a CD-ROM with the lay-out. This enables him to start his own production of fiches and take part in this European catalogue.
